Principal's Message
Hello Shark Families,
As the principal of Niguel Hills Middle School, I welcome all of you to the start of another great school year! I am hoping that you had a safe and healthy summer and that you took time to make some quality memories with your amazing children. Our team at Niguel Hills is here to support our students and families as we look forward to another fantastic year. As we begin the school year, you can expect a deep focus on our staff building relationships with our students. We want all students to feel connected to our school and community. I cannot stress how important these relationships are as it has become increasingly evident that students need connections to teachers and peers.
As we prepare for the new school year, we will also be focusing on establishing the most viable and rigorous educational platform to serve your children while building in support for our students who need extra time to learn key concepts. Our goal is to provide a safe and engaging school culture to support all of our students and ensure equity and access. We are committed to continue our tradition of excellence in all areas: academics, electives and the arts all while building on new and inventive approaches to support all of our students' educational and emotional needs.
On behalf of all of us at NHMS, we thank you for your support this year and for the ongoing support. Please know that we are fully committed to your family and the education of your student. We care very much for them and will work hard to ensure that all students learn at high levels. I am confident that our entire community will join hands to reconnect in support of our students and school to make sure this school year is great for all students.
