This is an introductory class to Spanish. No previous knowledge or experience is necessary. Learn about different Spanish-speaking countries, their cultures, and basic conversational vocabulary. Also, learn the first steps on how to teach someone else Spanish.

SPANISH 1
Spanish 1 is the same as the Spanish 1 class in high school. This is a college preparatory class. Students will learn how to speak, write, read and understand basic Spanish, which is a prerequisite for Spanish 2 in high school. Cultural and historical topics are intertwined with the language so as to allow students to have a more complete understanding of the people with whom they will converse.
