It is a true privilege to serve as principal of this incredible school community. Whether your family is returning to NHMS or joining us for the first time, I am excited to welcome you to a school where students are encouraged to learn, grow, and discover all they are capable of achieving.

 

At Niguel Hills Middle School, we believe middle school is an exciting time filled with opportunities to explore new interests, build confidence, and prepare for the future. Our goal is to create a school where every student feels valued, supported, and challenged to reach their highest potential. Guided by our belief of One School, One Ohana, we work each day to create a safe, welcoming environment where every student knows they belong.

 

Our SHARKS LEAD framework, Leadership, Engagement, Accountability, and Determination, is at the heart of everything we do. These values help shape the character of our students while providing a common language for learning, relationships, and personal growth. We want every Shark to leave Niguel Hills not only academically prepared, but also equipped with the confidence, responsibility, and resilience needed for high school and beyond.

 

The staff at Niguel Hills is dedicated to providing engaging learning experiences that inspire curiosity, critical thinking, and creativity. Just as important, they care deeply about building meaningful relationships with students because we know that students achieve their best when they feel connected and supported.

 

Families play an important role in the success of our students, and I encourage you to stay involved throughout the school year. Attend school events, read our Shark Bytes newsletter, connect with your child's teachers, and become involved through our PTSA or Booster Club. Working together, we can provide an outstanding middle school experience for every student.
